SCAN Health Plan will bring its Medicare Advantage coverage to Texas next year.

The insurer announced Friday that it will offer MA plans in the Lone Star State for the 2023 plan year, entering two counties: Bexar County and Harris County. It is also planning to expand into another county in Nevada, Nye County.

The expansion is pending regulatory approvals but would bring SCAN’s total reach to nearly 7 million potential members across five states and 20 markets.
