Riverside Health, an integrated care system serving southeastern Virginia, has finalized an agreement to implement Abridge’s generative AI-based clinical documentation platform across its network.

Following a successful two-month pilot, the healthcare system will roll out the solution to over 750 providers, including those in emergency departments, inpatient settings, and specialties such as physical therapy and medical residencies.

Abridge’s platform integrates with Epic, automating real-time clinical documentation to reduce administrative tasks. Riverside Health chose Abridge for its superior note quality and its ability to lighten clinicians’ workload, enabling them to spend more time with patients.
