The Food and Drug Administration announced a new plan Wednesday that limits access to COVID-19 vaccine boosters for most Americans as news broke of a major shakeup in leadership at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. CDC Director Susan Monarez was reportedly fired, and four other senior officials resigned.

The developments follow what some suspected was a trial balloon, with the Daily Beast reporting earlier this week that Dr. Aseem Malhotra, a British cardiologist who is reportedly a close associate of Kennedy and a leading advisor of the Make America Healthy Again Action lobbying group promoting the MAHA agenda, suggesting that COVID-19 vaccines would be banned “within months.”
