The use of real-time continuous glucose monitoring (RT-CGM) with a predictive alarm for hypoglycemia significantly reduced the risk of hypoglycemic events among adolescents with type 1 diabetes (T1D), according to a study published in Diabetes, Obesity, and Metabolism.
