Google released a white paper outlining various areas where governments, civil society groups and developers should work together to define and clarify ethical questions related to artificial intelligence.

“AI has become part of the fabric of modern life, with applications in sectors ranging from agriculture to retail to health to education,” two of Google’s policy leads wrote in a Jan. 22 company blog post on the white paper.
