PUBLIC and Amazon Web Services launch UK healthcare accelerator

PUBLIC has teamed up with Amazon Web Services to launch its first UK healthcare accelerator programme to help mentor digital health start-ups.

PUBLIC, a government technology company, will be bringing its extensive experience in managing accelerator programme, to the first UK-based cohort of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Healthcare Accelerator. The launch comes after the success of a similar programme from AWS, run in the US.

The healthcare accelerator will run virtually as a four-week technical, business and mentorship programme for ten healthcare start-ups selected by AWS and PUBLIC. Selected companies will have the opportunity to use AWS services to help solve the healthcare industry’s biggest challenges.
