Healthcare organizations are prepared to adopt clinical documentation improvement technology that uses artificial intelligence, a recent Black Book survey revealed.

The survey of 3,300 coding and health records professionals from 278 hospitals and 1,889 physician practices found that 44 percent of respondents reported already such technology, and 88 percent anticipate implementing these tools in the next five years.
