Cherodeep Goswami will begin his new role as Providence’s chief information and digital officer effective May 12.

Goswami will assume his role as chief information and digital officer at the Renton, Washington-based health system on May 12, according to a news release.
His appointment comes roughly two months after Providence announced it was streamlining its leadership team, cutting a few positions and rolling out a new Office of Transformation focusing on leveraging artifical intelligence and other technology initiatives across the system.
