In September 2024, the cybersecurity world was rocked by revelations about a massive botnet dubbed “Raptor Train.” Black Lotus Labs published a detailed technical analysis, while FBI Director Christopher Wray announced a joint operation to disrupt the botnet’s operations, acting as swiftly as possible given the circumstances.

The alarming reality is that this botnet grew and adapted undetected for almost four years, and Raptor Train isn’t the only one.
