President Joe Biden’s proposed $5.6 trillion budget for fiscal year 2023, would include $1.8 billion for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ EHR modernization efforts.

In the budget proposal, $5.8 billion in funding would also be provided to the VA’s Office of Information Technology to help support cybersecurity, financial management business transformation, claims automation and the infrastructure readiness program, according to the White House.
