State College, Pa.-based Penn State Health has launched a number of new partnerships since the start of 2025, from orthopedic to gastroenterology collaborations.

In addition, the system has seen a wave of new leadership changes following a number of retirements at the end of 2024.

In October, the system’s diversity chief, Lynette Chappell Williams, said she will step down, with her role being assumed by Wesley McClendon.

In December, the system’s CFO Paula Tinch stepped down. In addition, Penn State’s CEO recently retired, with Deborah Addo serving in an interim capacity since September.

In January, Penn State Health also added Teresa Swenson as administrative vice president of musculoskeletal services.
