In 2024, health insurers made 482 updates to their public and members-only websites.

Website changes appeared more often on the public site (58%) compared to the member site (42%), according to a report from Corporate Insight that examined the digital strategies of 21 health insurers and tracked all changes across 9 categories.

All insurers analyzed introduced at least three public site changes and one member site change last year, and 57% of site changes were of medium or high significance. The most changes appeared in the Alerts, Education & Information category (22%), followed by Tools & Digital Resources (15%)....
