Nevada takes on copay accumulators

The Nevada Division of Insurance said it will enforce guidance requiring insurers to not count copay assistance toward an individual’s out-of-pocket costs under most circumstances.

In its 2025 Health Benefit Plan Filing Guidance (PDF), Nevada said it will follow the outcome of an October court case between HIV & Hepatitis Policy Institute, a patient advocacy group, and HHS.
