About 40 percent of patients with chronic conditions say they are not able to sustain current investments of energy, time and money in healthcare through their lives, according to a study published in Mayo Clinic Proceedings.

Researchers collected data between Jan. 1, 2017, and Oct. 1, 2018, for 2,413 patients with chronic conditions in France.
