When Finnish company ŌURA unveiled an agreement with medical device maker Dexcom (as I reported earlier in the week), it seemed a promising move, to allow the Oura Ring to get a more complete picture of a wearer’s health. Now, an industry heavyweight has chimed in, saying it means “Oura could take a small step toward making blood sugar monitoring mainstream.”

The Oura Ring is a favorite gadget of mine. I wear one all the time. It monitors several health metrics and even warns me if it thinks I’m getting a cold or Covid.
