Oracle is reportedly in the running to acquire Veradigm, formerly Allscripts, according to a Nov. 10 report from Seeking Alpha.

Sources first told Axios that Oracle and McKesson — an organization specializing in pharmaceutical distribution, health IT, medical supplies and health management tools — are among the final contenders for the acquisition. Veradigm’s current market capitalization is approximately $1 billion.

Veradigm announced in May that it was considering various strategic options, including a sale, acquisition or other business combination.
