Oracle Health today announced the release of new free code designed to enable its customers to support the Veteran Interoperability Pledge.

– This framework facilitates the secure sharing of patient health information between the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and community providers, enhancing the care of Veterans receiving treatment both within and outside the VA network.

Seamless Integration and Access

The new code enables Oracle Health’s electronic health record (EHR) customers to seamlessly integrate VA APIs into their workflows, allowing secure data exchange with organizations involved in Veteran care. The code is available for free download, reducing barriers for any customer organization to confirm a Veteran’s status, especially in critical emergency situations.
