Oracle added a generative artificial intelligence service to its suite of cloud applications, services and analytics capabilities for healthcare customers on March 12.

Oracle Health Data Intelligence, formerly HealtheIntent, added a generative AI service for more efficient care management as well as new capabilities to improve system performance, pre-built clinical quality analytics and automated alerts with the goal of increasing reimbursements and supporting better care. The platform is powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and includes information from the EHR, alongside other data sources.

The generative AI service summarizes patient histories for care managers and the company’s expanded clinical quality content helps providers identify care gaps. The Oracle Health EHR will now automate alerts about care gaps for individuals so clinicians...
