How can employers provide health insurance coverage that’s both high quality and affordable?

Abstract

Most workers in the United States receive health insurance through their employer, and they are grappling with increasingly higher and more complicated health care costs. The Chief Executive Officer for data analytics company Embold Health discusses how employers are responding to worsening health care cost pressures: the choices they are facing and the decisions they are making, and the strong desire for objective data to assist in that process. He describes how Embold strives to make insurance costs more transparent and easier to understand, and to minimize inappropriate care, with tools that evaluate individual physicians based on the quality of their outcomes.
