Recent weeks have brought a lot of Affordable Care Act (ACA) action before the Supreme Court. First, the Court ruled, in an 8-1 decision, that insurers were entitled to more than $12 billion in unpaid risk corridors payments. Second, oral argument was held over the validity of Trump-era rules to expand exemptions to the contraceptive mandate; a ruling in that case is expected later this summer. Third, opening briefs in California v. Texas were due on May 6.
