In all states except California, the 2020 open enrollment season begins on November 1, 2019. (California set an earlier start date of October 15.) The deadline for the 2020 open enrollment period is December 15 in most states, although a handful of states with their own marketplaces have set their deadlines later in December 2019 or January 2020.

New Marketplace Data

On October 22, 2019, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) released early data on HealthCare.gov marketplace premiums and insurer participation for 2020.
