Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health acquired a 200-physician group from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Carolina.

Here are five things to know:

1. The acquisition includes UCI Medical Affiliates’ portfolio of 52 Doctors Care and 20 Progressive Therapy Clinics, staffed by nearly 200 physicians and advanced practice providers.
