North Dakota regulators signed off on an affiliation between BCBS North Dakota and Cambia Health Solutions Jan. 23, a news release said.
The affiliation is set to take effect Feb. 1.
“Reaching this milestone puts us one step closer to better serving members, customers and communities through shared innovation, expertise and resources,” Cambia President and CEO Jared Short said. “We look forward to welcoming our North Dakota colleagues and working together to ensure a smooth integration as we create a system that makes healthcare easier and lives better for the people we serve.”
The insurers announced the strategic affiliation in August, which would bring BCBS under Cambia’s management while maintaining a local presence....
