Color, a Silicon Valley health tech company that specializes in genomics, received a $4.6 million grant to collaborate with the National Institutes of Health’s “All of Us” research program, the company announced Wednesday. As part of the national study to advance precision medicine for a diverse demographic, Color is the sole company to provide genetic counseling services to the study’s participants.

Members of the Color leadership team say that they are very excited to receive the award. The All of Us study is “breaking new ground in the research community,” CEO Othman Laraki tells Forbes.
