Why Should We Care About Digital Twins in Healthcare?

Have a look around and you see countless examples of devices monitoring and collecting data of our physiological state: Wearable smart watches and fitness trackers, medical imaging devices, digital health apps, thermometers etc. Similarly, these devices themselves are also producing large amounts of data about their current operational environment and condition.
