RTM: Evidence-backed impact on an acute health crisis
Prompt detection and management of diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) is a crucial component of effective, comprehensive care for patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D). Left unchecked, DFUs can quickly lead to a series of acute complications, including infection, lower extremity amputation (LEA), and mortality.
