Nemours Children’s Health has announced a $300 million investment to expand its Nemours Children’s Hospital campus in Orlando, Florida, over the next four years.

The project is aimed at addressing the growing need for pediatric healthcare services in Central Florida, one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States.

The expansion includes three major construction projects:

A 110,000-square-foot addition to the pediatric hospital, doubling the size of the emergency department, expanding the imaging department, and adding inpatient beds and observation rooms. This portion of the project is expected to open in 2028.

A new 75,000-square-foot patient care facility, housing an expanded surgery center with six operating rooms, exam rooms, and specialized centers for orthopedics and sports medicine. The facility will...
