Mount Sinai Health System and Contessa have expanded their partnership in the New York metropolitan area to offer home health, hospitalization at home, rehabilitation at home, and palliative care at home

According to an Aug. 2 press release, Mount Sinai Health System and Nashville, Tenn.-based Contessa, an Amedisys company and home-based care provider, announced combining Mount Sinai South Nassau’s home health agency into their existing joint venture.

The new offering includes home health, hospitalization at home, rehabilitation at home (vs. care at a nursing facility), and palliative care at home. The home health agency is dubbed Mount Sinai at Home and will serve patients in the New York metropolitan...
