More than 80% of healthcare organizations are using a public cloud provider; however, few have fully transitioned their IT infrastructure away from on-premises systems, a July 22 report from KLAS Research found.

KLAS’ report includes responses from 36 health systems and hospitals]across care settings. Respondents were interviewed between April 2024 and April 2025 to assess the current state of their IT infrastructure, experience with public cloud providers, future plans, and general infrastructure priorities and roadblocks.
