Microsoft had a busy 2024 in healthcare through its clinical documentation subsidiary Nuance and an ongoing partnership with Epic.
Here are the tech giant’s 10 biggest healthcare moves of the year:
1. Microsoft inked an enterprisewide artificial intelligence deal in March with Renton, Wash.-based Providence.
2. Microsoft began partnering in October with Epic and health systems across the country to develop an ambient AI solution to streamline nursing documentation.
3. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health began deploying Nuance’s DAX Copilot ambient AI clinical documentation tool across the enterprise in May.
