Microsoft has unveiled ChatGPT on Azure, an open-source project on GitHub that enables users to deploy and utilize the OpenAI chatbot, ChatGPT, in a private manner. This solution has been designed to address the data security concerns that have led several companies, such as JPMorgan Chase, Amazon, Verizon, and Accenture, to restrict the use of the OpenAI chatbot by their employees.

ChatGPT on Azure ensures the protection of user data by isolating user-entered information from OpenAI systems and minimizing network traffic within the user’s network. This privacy feature allows organizations to leverage ChatGPT for their needs while safeguarding confidential company information.
