Have you tried Ray-Ban Meta glasses? They’re pretty cool. They’re light, stylish and effective, letting you listen to music, make calls and take photos and video in a pair of great-looking smart glasses. The next model will be much more powerful, it’s claimed.

According to Mark Gurman in the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Meta is creating its next product. “Meta races to get its critical new smart glasses to market this year,” Gurman claims, saying that new glasses are a major product priority for 2025.

This will mean, “an October launch of high-end, $1,000-plus smart glasses that include a small display. Unlike Meta’s current spectacles, this model will let wearers use simple on-screen apps and review photos...
