Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health is teaming up with Dispatch Health to provide acute care services in patients’ homes.

Under the partnership, MedStar Health will link patients with DispatchHealth according to their clinical requirements, geographical location and insurance eligibility, prior to their release from inpatient units or emergency departments at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center, both located in Washington, D.C.
