WASHINGTON — Chris Klomp says the reason he took the job to lead the Medicare division at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services was that he felt guilty about his entrepreneurial pursuits in health care.

“I made a lot of money in healthcare as an entrepreneur,” he said at the Milken Institute Future of Health Summit in Washington on Wednesday. “I think I might have gotten more value from it than I contributed, and I feel guilt about that.”
