The smartphone – nearly everyone carries one when stepping out. This increasingly intelligent gadget is also being employed more frequently for health applications. With the advent of AI, smartphones are now capable of conducting measurements for detecting medical conditions that previously necessitated visits to hospitals or doctors’ offices. This includes ailments for which you previously had to go to the hospital or your general practitioner. Successful endeavors are also underway to develop a method for measuring blood oxygen levels using a smartphone’s camera.
