Maternal health startup Mahmee announced Thursday it completed a $9.2 million Series A fundraising round led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s growth equity business.

Other participants in the raise include existing investors Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, Muse Capital, Backstage Capital, the Helm and Pipeline Angels, as well as new investors Episcopal Health Foundation of Texas, Third Culture Capital, Black Pearl Investment Group, She Raises Capital and Mahmee clinical advisor Dr. Lawrence Platt.

Founded in 2016, Mahmee raised $3 million in seed funding in 2019.
