Patients of health systems that partner with RxLink will now receive pricing information on prescription medications offered through Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Drugs Co.

The two announced a new partnership May 7 in which RxLink’s MedMap platform, which delivers lowest-cost recommendations for prescribed medications based on a patient’s insurance, third-party discounts and manufacturer offers, incorporates Cost Plus Drugs.

In the three months since partnering with Mr. Cuban’s pharmaceutical company, the MedMap platform has identified more than $162,000 in patient savings.
