Healthcare organizations across Louisiana have launched MyChart Central statewide, a new Epic feature that gives patients a single, secure way to access their medical records.

Epic announced the statewide launch Oct. 9.

Here are five things to know:

  1. The launch provides a unified view and single sign-in across all participating organizations. Participating health systems include Baton Rouge, La.-based Baton Rouge General; Baton Rouge-based Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System; Lake Charles, La.-based Lake Charles Memorial Health System; New Orleans-based LCMC Health; Hammond, La.-based North Oaks Health System; New Orleans-based Ochsner Health; Covington, La.-based St. Tammany Parish Hospital; Houma, La.-based Terrebonne General Health System; and Baton Rouge-based Woman’s Hospital.
