knownwell, an in-person and virtual, weight-inclusive primary care and metabolic health company, today announced that it has raised a $20 million Series A funding round led by a16z with participation from existing investors including Flare Capital Partners. This brings knownwell’s total funding to $24.5 million and highlights a growing demand for weight-inclusive care companies focusing on whole-person treatment approaches to obesity beyond just short-term approaches like GLP-1 utilization organizations.
