Bi-Annual Hospital Executives Survey: Interesting Takeaways Related to RCM, Telehealth, & VBC Strategies
In late December/early January, we surveyed hospital executives representing 218 hospitals across the U.S. on a variety of Healthcare IT/ Digital Health topics.
Takeaways from RCM Perspective. With respect to revenue cycle management vendor partnerships, most hospitals are either maintaining the status quo or deepening their relationships over the next 12 months. Separately, 35% of surveyed hospitals saw an increase in claims processing time from health insurers, while 45% of hospitals saw an increase in claims denials rates over the past 3-6 months.
