A recent survey found that quality of life may be worsening for physicians. Medscape determined that for a majority of physicians, overall happiness, work-life balance, family relationships and friendships have either stayed the same or worsened over the last three years.

Becker’s connected with 20 physician leaders to gauge their thoughts on how physician quality of life has changed in the last five years, and most seemed to be in agreement — quality of life is largely on the decline.
