The healthcare industry stands to gain a significant amount of advancements by continuing to add Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) devices to their health IT infrastructure.

IoMT devices can lead to more accurate diagnoses at the point of care – due to better connected devices – and also allow devices to collect more data for analytics purposes.

A recent report published by Frost and Sullivan found that nearly 60 percent of healthcare organizations have adopted IoT or IoMT devices and are experiencing cost benefits, visibility, and improved patient care.
