Transcend Strategy Group found a quarter of respondents felt their opinions were not respected

TOLEDO, Ohio—Transcend Strategy Group released its latest insights report on the “Emerging Needs of Gen Z and Millennial Family Caregivers.

Among the approximately 58 million people in the United States stepping into caregiving roles, Gen Z and millennial individuals are an often-overlooked demographic. In Trancend’s survey of 400 Gen Z and millennial caregivers, 67% of respondents have been directly involved in making health care decisions for an aging adult or someone living with serious illness in the past five years while balancing other demands of careers and raising families.
