Nemours Children’s Health is investing $300 million in central Florida over the next four years and $130 million in Delaware in 2025.

In Orlando, Fla., the health system’s plans include three new buildings on the Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida, campus, according to a Dec. 17 news release.

The first building is a 110,000-square-foot expansion of the pediatric hospital, to be completed in 2028. The expansion will double the size of the emergency department, increase space for the hospital’s imaging department, and add new inpatient beds and observation rooms.

The second building is a new 75,000-square-foot facility, scheduled for 2028. The patient care center will house an expanded surgery center with six new operating rooms and new patient exam rooms.
