A new white paper from the International Federation of Health Information Management Associations (IFHIMA) discusses the challenges of managing the privacy of health information in an increasingly mobile, digital, data-oriented world with a global perspective. Included in this paper are recommended key actions and case studies from Australia, the European Union, India, Qatar, Republic of South Korea, and the United States.
The paper’s authors will be discussing the paper and international privacy matters at the 19th IFHIMA National Congress in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, being held November 17-21, 2019.
