Humana CEO James Rechtin was paid $15.6 million in total compensation in 2024.

The insurer disclosed executive compensation information in its annual proxy report published March 7.

David Dintenfass, president of enterprise growth, was the company’s highest-paid executive in 2024, earning $18.1 million in total compensation and more than $5.6 million in bonuses. He joined the company in February 2024.

Humana made several changes to its executive lineup in the past year. Mr. Rechtin assumed the CEO role halfway through 2024. Former CEO Bruce Broussard, whom Mr. Rechtin succeeded, earned $12.1 million in 2024.
