Humana will open primary care clinics at 23 former Walmart Health sites.

Walmart will lease the clinics to Humana, according to a July 24 news release. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Humana will open CenterWell Senior Primary Care and Conviva Care Centers in Walmart stores in Florida, Georgia, Missouri and Texas. The clinics are expected to open in the first half of 2025, according to the release.

In April, Walmart Health said it would close all 51 of its health centers. The retailer cited a challenging reimbursement environment and rising costs as reasons for the closures.
