With rising challenges facing the medical community in the coming years, and as the U.S. population grows more unhealthy, digital devices will be a critical solution for patient care and remote patient monitoring.

According to the Association of American Medical Colleges, there will be an estimated shortage of between 37,800 and 124,000 primary and specialty-care physicians by 2034.
