Here is how much seven hospitals and health systems are expected to pay or have paid for the cost of purchasing, installing and upgrading a new or current electronic health record system:

- Kealakekua, Hawaii-based Kona Community Hospital and Hawaii County, Hawaii Kohala Hospital have been awarded $2.5 million in federal funding to install an Epic EHR system.
- MyMichigan Medical Center Sault in Sault Ste. Marie is spending $10 million to install Epic across the hospital.
- OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital spent $12 million to upgrade its EHR system to CareConnect.
