The White House’s Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights provides guidance on ethical and health equity concerns in healthcare as the industry aims to reduce repetitive tasks and boost clinical efficiency with AI.

In October 2022, the White House released its Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights, which outlined concerns about the use of artificial intelligence in various industries, including healthcare. It provides guidelines for how to address algorithmic discrimination and data privacy concerns. The five principles of the framework are safe and effective systems; algorithmic discrimination protections; data privacy; notice and explanation; and human alternatives, consideration, and fallback.
